She is now homeported in Astoria, Oregon where the great Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean in the most dangerous ocean/river entry in the world. The STEADFAST is 210.5 ft long and 34 ft wide with 10.5 ft draft, and it displaces 1,050 tons. She is propelled by 2 diesels with 2 shafts/propellers with 5,000 bhp and 18 knot speed, and she has a helicopter deck at midships (area surrounded by railing/net). She carries a crew of 62.
