My Construction Photos > Two workers lie down to place small plywood form on outside of exterior column to place concrete in gap between edge portions of precast hollow core floor slabs. Far worker is drilling through form into concrete to attach form to the concrete. The metal clasp at top is tied back to ensure the form does not fall if workers release it by mistake. A similar form is in place on the building corner to left of photo. Ashley Terrace, Ann Arbor, Michigan April, 2007.

My Construction Photos > Worker pushes concrete buggy to concrete placement position after filling buggy from laydown concrete bucket at edge of floor. Worker will tilt the buggy forward to place its concrete, and then return to this point to load additional concrete. Ashley Terrace, Ann Arbor, Michigan April, 2007.
My Construction Photos > Laydown concrete bucket delivers fresh concrete through its bottom gate valve to worker powered concrete buggy at building floor edge. Worker operates gate valve lever with right hand. Bucket is supported by crane. The natural tilt of the laydown bucket allows it to extend inside the floor edge, held in place by the wire cable perimeter fall protection, in this instance. Worker will push concrete buggy to concrete placement position and tilt it forward to place its concrete, and then return to this point to load additional concrete. Ashley Terrace, Ann Arbor, Michigan April, 2007.
My Construction Photos > Ironworker standing on scissor lift work platform tightens bolts with electric impact wrench that connect horizontal wide flange beam to vertical wide flange column. This connecting phase of structural steel construction, which follows the erection phase, consists of plumbing up the frame and installing permanent bolts/welds to complete the structural design and detailing connections. Ashley Terrace, Ann Arbor, Michigan April, 2007.
