My Construction Photos > B-24J Liberator, B-24 serial number 44-44052, heavy bomber is the world's only fully restored and flying Consolidated B-24 Liberator. It was built in Consolidated Aircraft Company's Fort Worth, Texas plant, and it saw action under the British flag in the World War II Pacific theater. It was restored and was in service in the Indian Air force 1948-1968. Thunder Over Michigan, Yankee Air Force, Willow Run Airport, Ypsilanti, Michigan, August 2005.
