Soil, earth construction: Caterpillar 325L crawler mounted hydraulic boom backhoe excavator places soil fill behind and against the back side of soldier beam supported precast concrete panel retaining wall. Soil is compacted in 6" to 12" lifts/ layers by vibratory plate compactor. Caterpillar 950F wheeled tractor front end loader at rear left maintains soil pile so backhoe can easily fill its shovel to place soil behind wall.
