Concrete construction/placement, foundation: Construction of cast-in-place concrete mat foundation for air terminal in massive one-day concrete placement for south half of terminal. Placement is by five Schwing long-boom concrete pumps fed by a continuous stream of readymix concrete trucks. Readymix trucks drive a loop, arriving full southbound and leaving empty northbound. Placement is near its end, with only the westmost portion being placed. Normal airport operations continue as usual on the runways and facilities in the background.
